Web Developer / Administrator

Position Summary
The Campaign for America’s Future (CAF) and the Institute for America’s Future (IAF) seek a Web Developer to lead deployment and management of all technologies for the organization’s website and online communications operations. In addition to being the lead online technician, this position will manage CAF/IAF’s 400,000+ supporter database. This person will work with the Online Communications team and policy staff to build traffic and audience for CAF/IAF’s websites and online campaigns. Events Manager

POSITON SUMMARY
The Campaign for America’s Future (CAF) and the Institute for America’s Future (IAF) seek an Events Manager responsible for planning and executing events of all sizes, including the annual Take Back America Conference. The Take Back America conference brings together thousands of progressive activists, thinkers and leaders to discuss the ideas, hone the message, train the organizers, and build the infrastructure of the progressive movement to ensure that the voice of the progressive majority is heard. Basic logistics of the conference are handled by savvy and competent consultants, so the Events Manager can concentrate on speakers, participating groups, and public visibility.

In addition to the Take Back America conference, the Events Manager will work with leadership and department heads to plan events to strategically advance organizational goals. Typical events will include issue focused conferences and seminars, book signings, film screenings, panel discussions, town halls, and CAF activities at DNC Convention. The Events Manager will also maintain a calendar of upcoming progressive events and strategically manage CAF/IAF involvement as sponsors, partners, or speakers at these events. The Events Manager is also responsible for coordination of biweekly meeting of progressive leaders.

Policy Analyst/Organizer – Healthcare for All

POSITON SUMMARY
Come help lead the fight for health care for all! The Campaign for America’s Future (CAF) and the Institute for America’s Future (IAF) seek a policy analyst/organizer to work on a national health care reform campaign. The core of the health policy Analyst’s work will be authoring a steady stream of national and related customized state reports that command attention in the media, in Congress, among opinion leaders and in the field. The analyst will also work with the policy director to keep track of and digest existing research and develop ideas for a comprehensive, detailed health care plan. This position will report to CAF Health Care Policy Director and will work closely with our online communications and press teams.

Senior Communications Associate

The Campaign for America’s Future (CAF) and Institute for America’s Future (IAF) are expanding our communications and media groups to move our bold message of progressive economic reform in the national political debate. We are seeking top-flight professionals to support our growth.

Position Summary
The Campaign for America’s Future and Institute for America’s Future seek a senior communications associate with extraordinary media relations and writing skills to work on cutting-edge media campaigns that move the progressive agenda and counter the failure of the right-wing. This position in the communications department will support the organization’s universal health care, trade and globalization, jobs and economy and energy independence programming. This position is located in the CAF/IAF Washington DC office and reports to the Director of Communications.

We're looking for intelligence, creativity, experience, rave reviews and most importantly, someone who can write extremely well. We want someone with the ability to learn quickly and summarize important information and arguments. But we're also looking for much more – entrepreneurial initiative, willingness to work and think hard, commitment to the team, practical perfectionism, a sense of humor and eagerness to chart unfamiliar territory. Our work involves the full range of organizational communications: creative planning, research, writing and media relations.
