Define Progressive

I've spent a couple of hours here at ourfuture.org, reading this'n that, most of them way too lengthy, oh well. It's apparently "progressive" here, but never do you give your definition. Seems to me that would be a first priority??
You're based in D.C, which is enough to scare anyone. The slant is obviously anti-conservative. Again, the definition of conservative (and liberal) is all over the map, so muddied that today nobody really knows what they mean, no more than do Republican and Democrat mean much anymore.
So why don't you just lay it out, what you seek, and how you plan to get there?
